PERSIAN FRONTIER DISPUTE
RICE CROPS RUINED BY FLOODS. [By Electric Cable—Copyright] [Aust. and N.Z. Cable Association.] (Received Tuesday, 2 a.m.) TEHERAN, Sept. 30. Floods in the Gilan district destroyed 25 per cent of the rice crop. A dispute at a frontier post at Damin ended in a skirmish by small detachments of Russo-Persian troops A few Persians holding posts were killed. The Governments have now arl ranged to settle the ownership of the disputed ground through a mixea commission.
