“POST CARD DAY.”

NOVEL ADVERTISING PROPOSAL

Something in the way of an American idea was submitted at tlic Chamber of Commerce last evening’, when the Wellington Chamber wrote, stating that a suggestion was made in the Capital City recently that a N.Z. Post Card Day be organised in connection with New Zealand’s participation in the British Empire Exhibition, 1924 The Wellington Chamber said that it was recommended that the postcards, which would be descriptive of Now Zealand, should reach England about a fortnight or so after the opening of the Exhibition, when their delivery would benefit the New Zealand section by drawing attention to that part of the Exposition

The Chamber decided to defer consideration of the proposal until its nex, meeting.
