Despitg its former decision, the Chamber of Deputies passed the Government Summer-time Bill by 313 votes to 246, after a lively debate tcrinating in a fervent appeal by M-. Poincare, who pointed out that it would mean saving 200,000 tons of coal. The Senate is expected to agree to the Bill.
