The inter-State rowing conference appointed a committee to draft a constitution for a board to control Australasian representation at Olympic and other international fixtures. It is understood that an additional argument advanced against permitting New Zealand to compete in interState contests, was the difficulty o* accommodating more than six crews on some rivers.
