NO CHOP SUEY.
AT EMPIRE EXHIBITION. [By Electric Cable—Copyright.] [Aust. and N.Z. Cable Association.] (Received Monday, 2 a.m.) LONDON. March 10. The management committee of the Empire Exhibition rejected an application to produce foreign films. The committee stipulated that both apparatus and films must be of Imperial manufacture, also on Imperial subjects. The committee rejected Hongkong’s proposal to construct a typical Chinese village with Chinese restaurants.
