IRISH AGREEMENT.

Dublin and Belfast are overjoyed at the new agreement, and though extremists in .Belfast declare that Sir James Craig shoujd not have met Mr Collins in any circumstances, his action is generally paid tribute to as courageous and likely to end the terrible state of things in Belfast. The agreement was hailed in Dublin as one of the most beneficial results of the new Government. Steps are being taken for the immediate resumption of trade between Ulster and the rest of Ireland. CONGRESS IN PARIS. PARIS, January 22. Delegates are arriving from all parts of the world to participate in the non-political Irish Congress opening on the <23rd instant. Its objects are a renaissance of the Irish language, literature, traditions and art, thus reviving the aeonic or national assembly which used to meet near Tara’s Halls. One hundred delegates will represent more than 15 countries. / Ireland’s delegation is headed by Mr De Valera and the Countess Markievicz. MORE MARTIAL LAW. (Received Monday, 10 p.m.) LONDON, January 23. The I.R.A. Commandant of East Limerick has proclaimed martial law in the Kilmarlock area in consequence of hay burning and other disorders.
