THE MEAT POOL.
(Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Last Night, Replying to Mr G. W. Forbes, Mr Massey said: It was intended that the meat pool should apply to this season’s meat, if possible to do so. A conference of producers will probably be held about 9th or 10th January. The scheme was a big one and could not be rushed.
