SCULLING.
ARNST AND HADFIELD. (Per Press Association.' WELLINGTON, Last Night. Interest in the world’s sculling championship, to be rowed on the Wanganui river on January sth, is becoming very keen. Both Arnst and Had field are now camped up the river, and are putting in strenuous work. Both were out to-day, covering a full course twice. Arnst rowed at from 20 to 24 strokes to the minute throughout, and Hadfleld 22. There is every prospect of a great struggle.
