' The Central News Agency is inform, ed that Herr Stinnes has no official purpose in his visit, whlclrhe has undertaken with a view to re-organising several concerns which he controls and to creating news businesses. He has met many commercial men, who were former directors of his companies In, Berlin. He stated that he is visiting Britain to ascertain firstly the amount which the British banks are prepared to lend Germany to pay the reparations on the security of German industries; and, secondly, if British banks and merchants are prepared to join a combined Anglo-German Association for the exploitation of Russia. , He is also authorised to offer Britain clos:er economic relations with Germany.
