PALACE. "HELIOTROPE." Can a crook have a streak of g-ohl in his nature that enables him to rise even above the heights' attained by the man who has never broken the law? "Heliotrope," our Paramount Super-Production now showing at the Palace, offers a unique answer to this. To-morrow's change will make a programme of comedy. Patty Arbuckle appears in a six-reel comedy-drama, "Brewster's Millions," and Larry Semon will also appear in "The Sportsman." There is going' to be some loud laughter tliis week-end.
TWO FIXE PICTURES. ‘‘Outcasts of Poker Flat.” a Urct Harte i>lay starring Harry Carey in a line picture of the early Californian gold rush days, well done by a good cast. “The Vice of Fools,” a society drama featuring - ;Alice Joyce, is also showing - , with a comedy, topical and scenic.
