LATEST REPORT. The High Commissioner, in a cable dated September 3, says:—Manila market little, more active and prices firm. "J" grade, July shipment sold £37 10/ per ton, August-October and September-November .shipments sold fST per ton. New Zealand market very quiet but steady. Highpolnts, spot, sold £4 2 per ton. Other quotations are nominally unchanged. Sellers .nighpolnto August-October and Sep-tembev-November shipments £37 10/, fair £35 per ton. Probable buyers about £2'per ton less.
