TURKO-RUSSIAN RELATIONS ARE CRITICAL. [By Electric Cable —Copyright.] [Aust. and N.Z. Cable Association.] (Received Wednesday, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, Mafch 15. The “Morning Post’s” Constantinople correspondent states that the Turks are much dissatisfied with the latest Allied proposals. The newspapers generally urge their absolute rejection.- It was popularly anticipated that France and Smyrna would be restored.' CONSTANTINOPLE, March 15. There are clear indications that the Turko-Russlan relations are critical, and both are preparing, in view of further developments. The Soviet has strongly protested against the Turkish occupation of Batoum, stating that it only recognises Bolshevik Georgia with the frontiers defined in the Rus-so-Georgian treaty of May, 1920. The Soviet will regard the encroachment of a third Power as an act of hostility against Russia.
