ASSASSINATIONS.

Talaat Pasha, a former Grand Jizler of Turkey, was assassinated by an .Armenian while walking in the street. He was living under an assumed name in a flat near the scene of the tragedy. The motive is said to be revenge for the Armenian mass&cfes. Talaat Pasha was walking on Wednesday, when a youth overtook and tapped him on the shoulder, claiming acquaintance. He then drew a revolver and shot the Pasha in the head. .A second shot was aimed at and wounded a lady. Onlookers seized the assassin and almost lynched him before the police intervened. In broken German The murdered man said: ““We are both foreigners; this is nothing to do with you.” Talaat .evidently feared assassination and had frequently changed his addresses. FASEISTI LEADER KILLED. ROME, March 15. The leader of the Fascist! at Ferraro has been assassinated.
