The entries for the above club'9 race meeting, on, Marton Racecpurse on Saturday next constitute a record for the club and include the whole of the tip-top riders of the North Island. The track is in splendid order and good times should be registered. Besides competing in the four open events L. Mangham, H. Moller, W.. J. Claringhold, H. Mangham. P. Meehan, E. Pearson, L. Webley and L. D'Oro will contest the Heavy-weight Championship of New Zealand. This should prove, an interesting event. Besides the above-mentioned riders, S. Morrison, A. Anderson, R. J. Jones, J. Sweeney, P. Coleman, F. Sykes, W. Davy , E. C. Gaisford, E. Sutherland, F. Smith, H. Richards, A. New ahd'S. New have entered in all the open events, so that good fiel<*J should face the starter in every race. The first race will start at 1 o'clock sharp and every half hour onwards.
