SPRING BOARD WANTED.
(To the Editor.) Sir—Some little time ago, the spring-board at the local swlmml s baths was broken and the next daj it was replaced. A couple of days 01 so after this, the new spring-board was broken, but so far that has not been replaced. This is a big inconvenience to the many swimmers who patronise ths baths, and the sooner the baths committee of the Borough Council stir things along, and put in a new spring-board, the *> etter ; It is true there is a high dive, but of what use is that to a person who is learning to dive? Perhaps the Conn«il are waiting for a suitable tree to crow. —I am, etc., “SWIMMER."
[The spring-board has been deliberately broken twice by stupid Tisses, and II the Baths Committee gets tired of replacing it it is not tr be wondered at.—Ed. M.D.T.]
