(To the Editor.) ,y Six- —in your report of the meeting of Retailers held last evening you credit me with stating that The fact was that the C. M. • Rpss Coy. were not doing the business they had since adopting the Saturday, half holiday. This taken out of its context conveys a very wrong impression as I made tire statement only in reference to their Wednesday business as compared with the business they, did when they kept open on Saturdays, it had no reference whatever to their general business.-I ■^ m bbNNETT.
