INTRIGUES IN INDIA.

PRINCE MUST STAY AWAY. [Aust. and N.Z. Cable Association.] (Received Friday, 1 a.m.) DELHI, June 16. ■Yn attempt is being made in India to prevent the Prince of Wales from visiting this country at the end of the present year, by extremist politicians, who regard the Hunter Commission findings with disfavour, and strongly urge the modification of the Turkish pence terms. They threaten that unless their demands are granted they will make the visit of the Prince a fiasco. The India Home Rule League cabled the Secretary of State that a welcome to the Prince would be doubtful unless the present situation were relieved.
