At the Addington market there was a big- yarding of fat sheep and an average one of fat cattle, and of store sheep a slightly bigger yarding than last week. Fat lambs: Extra prime to 35/9, prime 27/6 to 33/1. medium 25/ to '7/3, light and unfinished 20/ to 94/6 Fat sheep: A big yarding and recent values were scarcely maintained throughout the sale, particularly for secondary quality, and when the butchers' requirements were filled ana towards the close there was an easing. Freezing buyers operated f reeiy. Extra prime wethers 4 8/3 to 59/6, prime wethers 40/ to 45/6, medium 00/ to 3S/6, lighter 29/ to 34/, extra prime ewes 44/ to 4S/9, prime 36/6 to 43/6, medium 30/6 to 36/, light 21/ to "9/6. Fat cattle: The market, though not so firm as at recent sales, was up to last week's values, prime beef selling satisfactorily. Extra prime steers to £32 15/, prime steers £l9 10/ to £25, medium steers £ls to £lB. prime heifers £l3 to £ls 15/, ordinary and inferior heifers £6 10/ to £l2 12/6, prime cows £l2 10/ to £l6 17/6, ordinary cows £8 17/6 to £l2. vStore cattle: The poorest quality yarding this season. One line of forward steers brought up to £ls, bulls to £lO 10/. Dairv cattle: A keen demand, springing heifers brought up to £2l. and second and third calvers to £2O. Fat pigs: A medium entry and a fair demand. Choppers to £lO 15/, heavy baconers £7 15/, light £6 10/. Average per lb lOd. Heavy porkers £5 10/. Average per lb 1/ to l/o*d.
