Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having- held a highly successful clearing sale on account of Mr Noel Oxnam, at his homestead, Apiti. on Thursday. There was a very large attendance and competition was keen throughout the day. Quotations: —Mixed age empty ewes 8/6, mixed two-tooths 21/6, small lambs 13/10, mixed do. 24/1, fat woolly sheep SS/C, two-tooth wethers 30/6, mixed age breeding ewes 20/6, four and six-tooth do. 31/9, two-tooth do. 82/6, two-tooth Romney ewes £2 1/6, mixed age Romney rams £ll/, two-tooth do. Signs, dairy cows £S 0/ to £l7, two-year heifers £4, weaner steers £2, 31-year bullocks £lO 11/, aged draught gelding £3O 10/, do. mare £3O, pony £ll 10/, roller £25, cultivator £29, s.f. plough £lO, drill £SO. A very large quantity of implements, also household furniture, sold at highest market rates.
