Y.M.C.A. CAMPAIGN.

The second day's "results" luncheon was held yesterday. Mr W. It. Taylor, of the Y.M.C.A., Wanganui, sounded an optimistic note in saying that practically every man and woman whom they interviewed was sympathetic and interested in the object. There were no refusals. Mr W. A. Hislop, the honorarv audit officer, gave detailed instructions to teams. The chief of teams said the commander-in-chief would have but six words to workers, "Kiatere tonu ake to haerenga," and in case they were obscure he would repeat them thus, "Go for all you are worth from an early rising to a late retiring." Mr Arthur Hopwood, chief transport officer, appealed for the conservation of petrol and effort by grouping their prospect cards into districts. An excellent luncheon was provided by the young ladies of the Y W C A., chaperoned by Mesdames i;. A. Abraham, W. Coombs and J. Acheson. The team totals for the day were: £ Team. .„„ No . i—Capt. W.
