TRAMWAYMEN'S DISPUTE.

Following the failure of the recent National Conference to secure a settlement of the trarnwaymen's dispute, the men are now considering their futdro policy. Although no definite information is available it is understood that, just prior to the general election the Wellington men will decline to work any overtime. It is stated similar tactics' will be adopted in ail other centres. The men emphasise the fact that the recent conference broke up without discussing the general conditions and did not got beyond the wages issue.
