Massey Takes Railways. HIfSE AND NOSWOETHY ACCEPT OFFICE. (Per Press Associations/ WELLINGTON, Last a%ht. The Reform caucus sat for 2 1 /? hours to-night. At the conclusion Mr Massey announced that the meeting had been of a most satisfactory nature. Positions in the Cabinet had been offered to Mr J. B. Hine and Mr W. Nosworthy and they had accepted. Cabinet rant also had been offered to two other members of the party, but negotiations wero 1 not yet completed. Several changes' of portfolios will take place. Mr Herrics will hand over the Railways to Mi Massey, who 1 will give up Finance to Sir James Allen. Mr Herrics will remain Native Minister. The Premier states that he expects to be in a position to announce the remainder of the Cabinet appointments in a day or two.
