ACCIDENT ENDS FATALLY
As a result of the railway accident at Terrace End crossing on Friday, Albert Arthur Haranui Thomas died at the Palmerston North Hospital on Saturday at 1 p.m. The deceased, who was seven years of age, was a son ol Mr and Mrs Geo. Thomas, of Church Street. The lad's father had' quite recently gone to Levin to join the staff of the "Levin Chronicle," but Mrs Thomas and the family were still resident here. Very sincere sympathy is felt with Mr and Mrs Thomas in their bereavement. After the accident, some delay occurcd in procuring the services of a doctor, and it was deemed advisable to remove the boy to ths Public Hospital, where he received immediate .-■ attention. The matron of the Hospital wishes it known that in cases of accident the patient should be sent immediately sent to the Hospital, their ambulance being always available at short notice. It is therefore quite unnecessary to delay in order to call in an outside doctor.
