Shannon Notes.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) Out of their efforts, Mesdamcs Terry and Mcrwood have contributed £G 5s lid for the Red Cross, in addition to £8 Is 3d handed to the Patriotic Society for Y.M.C.A. funds. All good sports will be sorry to hear that our motor-cycle champion, Mangham, had his arm broken through a fall in a race at Dannevirke. His friends will be glad to learn he is getting on all right. He is about, and bar the tied up wing, is as cheerful as a cricket. Word has come that Mr Allways son was wounded. This is the second of the family.
