Raid on Transports.

BY TEN ENEMY WARSHIPS. The High Commissioner reports: — LONDON, Oct. 27 (4.2f> p.m.) Admiralty report: During last night ton enemy transports attempted a raid on the transports crossing tho Channel, and failed. One empty transport was sujik, but the crew was saved. Two enemy destroyers ware sunk, and the rest were driven off. One British destroyer is missing, and it is feared she has been lost. Nine of the wew were saved. Another destroyer was disabled by a torpedo, and was being towed when the tow-rope parted, owing to the bad weather, and the destroyer went aground.
