The Albion Cup resulted:—Wariinnie I, Count Grafton 2, Peter the Painter 3. Seventeen started. Won by half a head. Time, 2.14. WANGAN UI MEETING. (Per Telephone, 1 a.m.) Wanganui Jockey (Tub's meeting concluded on Saturday. The attendance was large and speculation was brisk. The tote handled £26,340 against £22,235 for the corresponding day la-st year, and the total for the meeting was £46,123 compared with £40,850 last year. Results:— Winter Oats. —11 Sir Moseley 1, 2 Play Off 2, 10 Epworth 3. Won by two lengths. Time, 1.15 4-5. Balgownie Hack.—2 Lady Elgiva 1, 10 Sweet Van 2, 4 Sir Donald 3. Won by a length. Time, 2.0 3-5. Grandstand Steeplechase.—4 Exotic 1, 2 Silver Monarch 2. 7 Northern 3. Te Whetu, Riro Atu, and Passive fell, and Sir Lethe ran off. Won by half a length. Time, 5.15. Rata Hack Hurdles.—2 Mescal 1, 5 St. Gate 2, 1 Sam Pan •'!. The Diver fell. Won by a length and a half. Time, 3.4. May Hurdles. —1 Goodwin Park J, 4 Kurnalpi 2, 5 Timothy 3. Won by a length and a half. Time, 3.20 J-5. Empire Hurdles. —2 Rewi Poto 1,10 Manitau 2, 5 Leonta 3. Won by a short neck. Time, 2.0. Farewell.—9 Bivouac .1, 1 Princess Moutoa 2, 2 Ngarua 3.
