WEDDING.

A quiet but pretty Irish wedding of local interest was celebrated at the Basilica, Hill street, Wellington, during Easter week, when Mr Frank o 'Sullivan, of Wellington, was married to Miss Nancy Hegartv, daughter of Mr J. Hegarty, Kilgarvan, Killarney, Ireland, and niece of Mr and Mrs Peter Garrity, of Dunkerron, Palmerston. The bride, who was given away by her uncle, Mr Peter Garrity, was gowned in a pretty trained frock of pale amethyst "Peau de Peche" with fur trimming, the skirt was beautifully draped and finished at waist with a spray of orange blossoms. She wore a charming French mob cap and veil, the cap being trimmed with tiny amethyst rosebuds and orange bios* soms anr carried a beautiful shower bouquet of delicate pink roses and autumn foliage. The bridesmaid, Mrs E. Barry, Featherstone (nee Cissy 0 'Shea, of Cork, Ireland) wore a lovely frock ot' pale cream shadow lace over ninon and a pretty velvet hat, trimmed with sable fur and carried a lovely bouquet of cream roses and autumn foliage, with silk streamers. Mrs Peter Garrity (aunt of the bride) wore a lovely black crepe de chene costume, black velour hat and white plumes and carried a bouquet of violets. Mrs D. O'Sullivan(mother of the bridegroom) wore a black hat with ostrich feathers and carried a bouquet of violets. Miss Madeline o'Sullivan (sister of the bridegroom) wore an amethyst costume with a velvet hat to match. Miss Harriet Card, of Featherston, wore a violet costume and violet mirror velvet hat with tango plumes. The bridegroom was attended by his brother, Mr J. O'Sullivan, as best man. After the ceremony, which was performed by the Rev. Father Hickson, a reception was held, at A he termination of which the couple left Inmotor for Wanganui, the bride wearing a navy cloth draped skirt and loose smart coatee, small piquant velvet toque with tall mount in tango shades.
