Wallace's Registry, 86 Cuba street, advertises for cooks, generals, shepherd, painters, ploughman and man for milking machines. Those in search of wedding presents are invited to call at Messrs Watson Bros., Ltd., The Square, to see the bargains offered in electroplated goods. The Manawatu Auctioneering Company, Palmerston, notify by adver* tisement that they are prepared to conduct clearing sales in any part of the town and district. A speciality is also made of sales held at the Mart on Thursdays and Saturdays. '
CLEARING SALES. HARRY PALMER. Mr Harry Palmer has been instructed by Mrs Hattie, Terrace Street, to hold a clearing sale on her behalf today, commencing at I o'clock. Inj eluded in the articles for disposal are a settee in figured velvet, Austrian chairs, bedsteads, crockery, glassware, etc. Harry Palmer and Co., in a preliminary notice on page 8 announce an unreserved clearing sale on behalf of Mrs Campbell, Linton, to dispose of the whole of her farm stock, implements, household furniture and effects. Mr Harry Palmer will hold a clearing sale of the whole of his stock of new and second-hand furniture at his Mart, commencing Thursday, 2nd April. This is the annual stock-tak-ing sale and the pick of his superior furniture will be offered absolutely without reserve. Mr Harry Palmer, in a preliminary announcement, advertises that he will hold a sale on April 7 on the farm Ashhurst-Colyton road on behalf of Mr M. Johansen, when cattle, horses, milk carts, traps, implements, piano, organ, and furniture will be offered. Full particulars will appear later. ,
M.A.C. The M.A.C. has received instructions from Rev. A. Don to sell all the superior furniture of his 7-roomed residence this afternoon. The list includes an upright iron grand piano, earved sideboard, extension table, cheffonier, washstands, duchess chest, lounge, bicycle, and a large assortment of household sundries.
