At the annual ram fair to-day entries were not so numerous as last year but demand was much better and the sale was the best for years, nearly all rams changing hands. Border Leicesters were first and English Leicesters second in demand. Best prices were: —B.L. flock rams s%gns to 6%gns, E.L. s%gns to 6%gns, Romney 3gns to sgns, Corriedale 3gns to 4gns, stud rams B.L. up to llgns, E.L. to Romneys to llgns.
