THE DOG NUISANCE.
To the Editor. > Sir, —Being one of a large number of the cycling fraternity in this town, I would like to draw -the attention of the Borough Council to a really noticeable pest, viz., dogs. In the larger towns (Timaru, to wit/as one) this dog nuisance is dealt with in a very strong manner and seeing that the Borough Council has increased its 'Nuisance Inspector's (Mr Buchanan) wage to £3 3s a week, it is the wrh> er's opinion that the said officer should be empowered to seize all dogs without collars and by doing so he would render a signal service to all cyclists, motor or otherwise.—Yours, etc., "TERRACE END." Terrace End, March 26.
