AUCKLAND LOANS CARRIED
Press Association. —By Telegraph. ANCKLAND, March 2b". All the City Council loan proposals aggregating £112.000 were carried by the ratepayers at to-day's poll, only a small number voting. The loans authorised are —£80.000 for completion of ■ drainage, £13.000 for new depot and stables. £15,000 for purchase of Mr F. Gillies' estate, Parnell, for a public park, and £4,000 for Art Gallery extension.
