Pater so a, of Motiti Island, which was found in the harbour yesterday almost submerged. A search was made all day on tke beaches on both sides of the harbour, but was fruitless. Another party found on the beach at Matakana Island lifebuoys, a mast, a tin of benzine and boots in a boat recognised as belonging to Mutu and Jack (natives) and H. Grey. The latter was employed by Mr Paterson on the island. The clothes belong to Mutu. It is surmised that the launch foundered on entering the harbour on Tuesday or Wednesday.
