A CRISIS, (Times and Svdnev Sun Services.) RIO DE JANEIRO, yesterday. There is a financial crisis in Brazil. The European purse strings have been pulled tighter and money is being hoarded to an astonishing extent. The banks hold only 20 per cent, of the currency in circulation. It is calculated that £26,000,000 are literally locked up in boxes. Firms are importing safes, the strong boxes being unable to meet the demand.
