Twenty-four started, including Electrakoff. Empera-'or, patiently ridden by C. Emmerson, got second place behind Alnre', who was beaten at the distance. After a great race in the straight the light weight won by half a lengtn; Electrakoff fourth. Time, 2.10^.

Dou Quex started in the Hnrdles, but was pulled up having lost a stirrup. Banks'a started in t*e Novice Handicap, which was won by Kirribillio.

Cherubini startel in the Welter, which was won by Heartfell. At Meutone, Melbourne, Moonbria won the Second Division Handicap.
