j On Thcrs' ay next George MarI low's brilliant dramatic company fresh from their Melbourne seasou will open for a two nights' season at tne Municipal Opera House with the sensational melodrama "The Night Side of London." This piece which is by the pen of tne celebrat el playwright G Watson Mill, has proved a big sncceps everywhere because of its fine eramatic situations and the excellent blending of clean, wholesome comedy that preva es t e drama t' roughout. *The play deals wita many aspects of life led by certain sections of the community in England an i there is drawn a power fol picture of the gilded life of the Empire's capital. The fat* of a lonely gin in London is picturesquely described and will be excellently acted by a powerful combination of dramatic artists. A novel scene will be tbat showing a typewriting agenoy in London with tue girls at work and t:.e temptations teat are thrown in their way. A brilliant scene too will be that showing the interior of Club, London, where superbly dressed women are seen surroun led by a number of a • mireis A feature of "Tr.e Night Side of London" wil' be the beautiful and authentic scenery. On Friday evening the successful London drama, "The Girl Woo Took the Wrong Turning" will be staged. The plot is said to be off the beaten track and full of sensational incidents.
