COMPARATIVE FIGURES. The annual returns for the year eufing April 80, 1913, in the various districts arouu.i Manawatu are as follows : Manawatn 151,298, t'pcrease 7,497. Fohangina 167,835, increase 15,875. Horowhenua 155,080, increase 3262.
Kiwitea 840,753 , increase 18,17 7 Kairanßa 106,587, > ecreaae 1832. Oroua 155,43'), .ecrease 5,219. Rangitikei 254,641, increase 121,129
The total number of sheepowners in the Dominion are 21,527, while the total number of seep in the Dominion on April 30 was 24,191,810, showing an increase for fctie year of 441,657. These figures are made up as follows:—Stud rams 13,156, flock rams 300,534, wethers 3,207,550, breeding ewes 1,252,186, dry ewes 1,163,707, lambs 6,985,827.
