The romance of t e Uganda railway promises to be equalled by t*ie construction of a new artery of 550 miles from a newly discovered part, named after Mr Lewis Harconrt, on the branch of the Bonny River, Nigeria to the Eadnna River, where it joins the Kano railway The cost of the new line, which the Government has just sanctioned, will be three millions
It traverses t : e myserions almost unknown land of ju ju worship, tapping the richest palm oil belt in the world, an i a coal field of a thousand square miles, 75 per cent, of the value of the best Welsh coal.
