SUGAR TO BE FREE.
BIGGER INCOME TAX. Press Aesn—By Telegraph—Copyright Received 5.5 p.m. Washington, April 5. President Wilson and the Congressional leaders have agreed to establish a low rate of duty on sugar, which will eventually be made free. A new progressive federal income tax ranging from one to four per centum, with a flat tax of two per centum on corporations, covers the loss involved in the alterations in sugars.
