EASTER HOLIDAYS.
The Post and Telegraph Department, Palmerston North, will observe the undermentioned holiday hours during Easter : On Thursday, 20th March, there will be a delivery of letters over the Post Office counter between the hours of 7.30 p.m. and 8.30 p.m. On Good Friday, 21st March, the Post Office will be closed in all branches. Mails for the day will close at 6.15 a.m. The Telegraph Office will be open from 9.30 a.m. to 10 a.m. and from 5 p.m. to 5.30 p.m.
On Saturday, 22nd March, the let-ter-carriers will make a fall delivery in the afternoon and a delivery of letters will also be made over the Post Offic counter between the hours of 7.30 p.m. and 8.30 p.m. On Easter Monday, 24th March, the usual despatch of mail will take place up to 10 a.m., at which hour the remaindef of the day's mails will close. The Post Office will be open in all branches except Money Order and Savings Bank, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. The Telegraph Office will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and from 7 p.m. to midnight.
