FIRE AT FEILDING
SASH AND DOOR FACTORY DESTROYED.
VERY CONSIDERABLE LOSS,
(Special to Times. ) Feilding. Last Night.
At 10.30 to-night a fire broke out in the Feilding Sash and Door factory. The flames seemed to originate in the centre of the building. The Fire Brigade were out early and got to work upon the fire. Practically the whole of the premises, however, were destroyed. The loss will be considerable. The machinery is rendered practically useless and a quantity of timber was burned. A new building containing mouldings on the Kimbolton side of the road was saved. There are insurances on the place but it was impossible to obtain them to-night. The principal amount is in the office of which Mr E. Goodbehere is agent.
Be wise in time and insure against loss with the Northern Assurance Co. C. F. Spooner, Chief Agent, Cole's Buildings, Palmerston North.***
