TIMARU WOOL SALES.
PRICES MAINTAINED. (Press Association. —By Telegraph. Timaru, Yesterday. At the second wool sale to-day nearly 1,900 bales were offered, and the majority were sold. The attendance of buyers was a record. Competition was keen for most kinds. Generally the prices were on a par with those of the recent sales in Dnnedin and Christchurch. The wool was heavier than, at the previous sale. American buyers were keen bidders for suitable lots
