An old and. reapeoted resident of Wellington and Palraerston, Mrs Barolav, passed away at her iesidenoe last week. ■'
Master Richard Robinson, 'aged seven years, arrived safely at Wangannl last week/having travelled alone from the Nambuooa River, northern New South Wales, to see his marrjed sister in Wanganui. From his home he began with a day's journey in ooaoh to the nearest port, fie boooeeded in embarking on a coastal steamer boond for Sydney, and finally, oatohing- the Warrimoo, sailed direct for Wellington. A days journey in the train, and be reaohed his destination after having travelled 1660 miles by hiiiifielf.
