Another oontest for the. Yates' Feathers took .place on the lo'oaT green on Saturday, when the holders (Messrs Dixon, H. Nash—aubafcitute for Haydon-Young, and J. A. Nash) easily defeated the Feilding ohallengers (Messrs Irvine, MoLean, Stewart and Sayell) by 24 to 9. '.The Palmerston skip was in exoellent form and was well supported by iiis rink, Seveial times Mr Nash saved the beads in good style, and on two oooasions when Feilding were lying 5 be succeeded in .dewing the shot. . t
