The evidence taken at the inquest was confirmed, This ahowed that the child lived after birth. Accused ' pleaded not. guilty, and reserved her defenoo. She was committed for trial. The Waihi Grand Junction Mine treated 4411 tons of ore for £5133 during the month. News was reoeived from Fiji yesterday that a young prospector named Hinoh was drowned in attempting to oross the Sigotoka river with a saok of specimen rook a few days ago.
