ABhburton, Last Night. 1 The Squth Canterbury and Ash* burton Hospital Boards have agreed to join with South Canterbury in the establishment at an estimated cost of £2OOO and maintenance, of a consumptive sanatorium on a site Of 76% aores'at'Winßcombe, near Fairlie, the board of management to consist of seven members, four representing South Canterbury, including Waimate, and three Ashburton. The distriot served will be from Waitaki to the Rakaia rivers and from the Alps to the sea.
