London, Dec. 7. In the match between the New Zealand professional team and the Rochdale Hornets the New Zealanders showed improved form and won by the, large margin of two goals and five tries to nil.
The ground was heavy and the game was more oven than the score would indicate, as the Rochdale men frequently narrowly missed scoring bat the defence of the New Zealanders proved too strong them.
