SHOOTING.

Tbe Manawatu Mounted Rifles will conclude their annual class-firing at theBokowhitu range to-day. On Wednesday last some 30 members mustered for class-firing, and were divided into two squads. Lieutenant Batcnelor and Trooper Searle were winners in A squad and Q.M.S. Beadnall and Trooper L. L Lovelock in B squad. Four trophies wer given, and won by the above-mentioned members. The snooting showed an all--round improvement on that of last year.
