FLOWER SHOW.
The sale of work and amateur flower -how, organised by the Ladies' Guild of All Saints' Church, proved very successful yesterday and lasJ evening. The Zealandia Hall was tastefully arranged, the tables of flowers being well set ou6 and the stalls shown to tho best advantage. Tho Refreshment Stall was in the charge of Mrs Harper and Mrs Pomr, and the Work Stall (All Saints') under the guidance of Mosdan.es Barnicoat, Hewitt, Goldingham, and Harden. The Sweeb Stall which was stocked with all kinds of home-made sweets, which found a ready sale, was presided over by Miss Randolph. Mrs P. C. Freeth was in charge of the Vegetable Stall, and Misses Bell, Owen Bell, and J. Hayward superintended tha Plant Stall. A particularly bright aud attractive stall was the SC. Peters' Work Stall. The exhibition was splendid, and tbo workers deserve great- praise. The ladies i>. chargo wero Mesdamss Hunter-Brown (who supplied much that was.valuable), Bennett, arid Klingender. Amongst the flower division'were some remarkably fine exhibits, notably the display of anemones shown by* Mr W. Park, and the pot plants and p.iuis shown by Messrs Allan and J. Strang. The takings were estimated at £70. The committee who h.td so successfully worked up the exhibition consisted of Mesdamos L. A. Abraham (secretary), Tripe, Monro, Freeth, Nannestad, Mellsop, Holmes, and Misses McLennan and Akers. PRIZE LIST. **
