BUNNYTHORPE.

[Own Correspondent.] Bunnythorpb, Last Night. • A school football team has been selected to play Upper Taonui at an early date. Recently the girls attending our State school played a match at rounders with the Upper Taonui school, the latter coming off victorious. Messrs Hanson and Robbie, of this part, have recently returned from a trip to the Hot Lakes district. Both gentlemen received considerable benefit and pleasure from their trip. Orchard pilfering appears to be rather serious here. One settler informs me that during his.absence from home for a few days his garden was completely stripped.

The roadmen have now completed Baring-street, and nearly finished Raymond-street. These will now be fine broad roads with extremely easy gradients.
