Mounsey and Co. report full entries at their sale at their rooms oh Saturday. There was a good demand for all pigs and poultry, prices remaining unchanged from last quotations.
We had a large attendance at our land sale, and were able to dispose of 255 acres near Woodville at JJ1619 ss, also quarter-acre Fritz-street at £159 15s, also ,60ft frontage to, Featherstonstrret at JGI2O, also 66ft frontage to Tuam-street at £49105, the sale totaling J51949. We conducted a successful sale at Foxton on behalf of the trustees in the estate of J. Loveday on Wednesday. We quote—Store pigs £1 4s to £1 ss, slips 15s 6d to 18s 6d, weaaers 13s to 14s 3d. Poultry, laying hens 3s to 4s 6d, cockerels 3s to 7s,ducks ss, guinea fowls 6s. Produce, table potatoes £3 to £4 43. seed do £4 16s to £7 4s, carrots 2s 6d, mangolds 2s, swedes 2s 9d, onions Jd and Id, seed oats 8s bushel, peas 4s 6d, wheat 4s 6d, pollard 11s, chaff £3 to £4.
